Una vez que aterrices en Guadalajara, te recomendamos ir directamente a Ixtlahuacán o Chapala.

El trayecto desde el aeropuerto toma aproximadamente 35 minutos en coche.

A continuación te compartimos las dos mejores opciones para llegar cómodamente a tu hotel:

1) Taxi (¡la opción más fácil y recomendada!)

La forma más práctica es tomar un taxi autorizado del Aeropuerto de Guadalajara (GDL) directamente hasta tu hotel.

Costo aproximado: entre $500 y $600 pesos mexicanos.

Importante: Uber ya no puede operar dentro del aeropuerto de Guadalajara.

Cómo hacerlo paso a paso:

1-Busca el módulo de taxis dentro del aeropuerto (lo verás antes de salir a la calle).

2-Dales la dirección de tu hotel o alojamiento.

3-Paga el monto indicado y pide tu recibo.

4-Sal del aeropuerto y entrega el recibo al conductor asignado.

5-Muéstrale la dirección nuevamente y…

6- ¡Listo! Estás rumbo a Ixtlahuacán

Once you've landed in Guadalajara, we suggest taking transportation directly to Ixtlahuacán or Chapala.

The drive from the airport takes about 35 minutes.

We recommend one of these 2 options to arrive at your hotel in GDL directly from the airport:

1) TAXI

This is what we recommend most! Get an official AirportTaxi from the GDL Airport to your hotel. It only costs about $30-40 USD.

Unfortunately Uber is no longer allowed to pick up at the Guadalajara Airport.

TAKING A TAXI IS EASY

1. Locate the taxi stand inside the airport (a small kiosk before exiting the airport)

2. Provide them with the address of your accommodation (have it written on your phone, or piece of paper, to show them in case of a language barrier)

3. Pay the amount indicated

4. Obtain a receipt from the kiosk and proceed outside where you will find multiple taxis, and taxi drivers, waiting to give you a ride.

5. Give them your receipt and show them the address of your accommodation

6. You are on your way!

2) TRANSPORTE PRIVADO | PRIVATE DRIVER

Unless you plan to spend more time in Mexico and travel outside Guadalajara, you do not need to rent a car. Renting cars (as well as driving) in Mexico can be a bit tricky, so we recommend you simply use Taxis or Uber during your entire trip.
